Best AI Call Assistants for Real Estate Investors in 2026: the buyer's shortlist
The best AI call assistant for real estate investors in 2026 is Rider, if you call sellers from a phone: it works on a real call on your own caller ID, hears both sides, and bills only the minutes someone is talking. PropStream Connect and BatchDialer are better if you live in a desktop dialer with lead data. We built Rider, so we show our scoring and where it loses.
Key Takeaways
- Investor-built dialers do not run on a phone. PropStream Connect and BatchDialer Pro add live prompts inside a browser softphone, and Amotions says its real-time AI "is not a mobile-phone app today". If you take seller calls on a phone, few options remain.
- Rider bills talk time only. Ringing, voicemail and unanswered calls are free, which matters when most cold-call dials never connect. A conversation costs 50¢ a minute.
- Rider costs more than a seat for heavy dialing. Four hours of conversation a month is $120 and 20 hours is $600, against $30 to $199 for the dialer add-ons. It makes more sense on callbacks and negotiations than on a 150-dial day.
- None of these tools replaces your lead data. Skip tracing, list building and mail live in PropStream and similar platforms. Rider and TalkPilot sit on the call, not on the list.
- Check do-not-call before you dial anything. Rider blocks a lead you marked do-not-call, but a typed number bypasses it and there is no national scrub. Scrub your list at the source.
What an AI call assistant for investors actually is (and what it is not)
An AI call assistant for a real estate investor listens to a seller conversation while it happens and puts guidance on your screen: the next question to ask, a correction when you misstate a term, and which goals of the call are still open, such as the seller's timeline, the price they have in mind and who else decides. The point is to change what you say in the next ten seconds.
It is not an AI voice agent. Tools that call motivated sellers for you are a different category, and they raise separate consent and Do Not Call questions that this page does not cover. Every tool below keeps a human on the call.
It is not a lead-data platform. PropStream, DealMachine and similar products sell property and owner data, skip tracing and mail. Some add a dialer and, in PropStream's case, live prompts. A call assistant has none of that data.
It is not a practice app. Role-play tools let you rehearse a seller script against an AI persona, which helps, but a practice app never hears the real seller.
The hard question is how the tool hears the call. On an iPhone, apps cannot record a normal cellular call. A bridge places the call through the app, so it receives both sides. A microphone route listens to your speakerphone. A browser softphone places the call from a desktop on a number the platform assigns. That difference drives the ranking below.
How We Ranked These AI Call Assistants
We scored each product from 0 to 5 on six criteria, weighted them, and multiplied the sum by 20 for a score out of 100. Every fact comes from a vendor page, an App Store listing or a vendor help doc, checked on October 13, 2026. We did not trial any product, so "live" means the vendor's copy says so. Weights are our judgment.
| Criterion | Weight | A score of 5 means |
|---|---|---|
| Live suggestions | 25% | Suggestions on screen during the call, documented by the vendor |
| Phone path | 30% | A real call on your own number, no required dialer, clean audio of both sides |
| Mobile and self-serve | 15% | An iOS app that anyone can buy without talking to sales |
| Scope | 15% | Works for any hard conversation, not only one sales motion |
| Adjacent features | 10% | Practice, call prep, hold handling and consent built in |
| Pricing | 5% | Pay per use, no seat |
Phone path carries the most weight because it decides whether the tool works when you take a seller call away from your desk. Scope scores investor-built dialers low because they serve one workflow, not because that is bad: for a desk-based investor it is the point.
Disclosure: Rider is our product and we scored it on the same rubric as the rest. Because we chose the weights, treat the order as an argument, not a verdict. If you work from a desktop dialer with lead data, the order changes, and the "which fits" table below says how.
The Best AI Call Assistants for Real Estate Investors in 2026
Five products follow, ranked by score. Prices are list prices we saw on October 13, 2026. "Not stated" means the vendor does not say.
1. Rider, best for seller calls from a phone on your own caller ID
Rider listens to both sides of a call and puts one next line on screen, under twenty words, before the seller finishes. You dial from the app, or it rings your phone first and bridges you in, and the seller sees your own number. It tracks your objectives for the call as they get covered, keeps running notes of numbers, people, objections and promises, and shows a fix when you misstate something.
- Price50¢ a minute, no subscription
- Billed forTalk time only, by the second; not dialing, ringing or voicemail
- Free minutes10 when you join, no card
- PlatformWeb app today, iPhone app in beta
- Lead data and skip tracingNone
- Our score92 of 100 (self-scored)
When the seller agrees to a next step, Rider proposes the matching action on a card showing what they said: a meeting on your Apple Calendar or a follow-up call on your list. You confirm each one. Consent is built in: your opening line asks the seller whether an AI note-taker may listen, and Rider cannot hear them until you have asked. The assistant works from your playbook, such as your offer terms, closing timeline and objections, so a number it suggests must come from there or from the call.
Where Rider loses: it costs more than a dialer add-on once you pass about an hour of conversation a month, it brings no leads or skip tracing, and it has no customer base to point to yet. The iPhone app is not on the App Store, and there is no Android or Apple Watch app. Its Do Not Call check is partial: it blocks a lead you flagged, not a typed number, and does no national scrub.
Best suited for: Investors and acquisitions reps who take seller calls on a phone and want clean two-sided audio, consent handled on the call and no subscription. Less suited to someone dialing 150 numbers a day from a desk.
2. TalkPilot, best flat-price option that works on your own phone
TalkPilot is a real-time conversation coach for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, with modes for sales, work, interviews and general conversations. It shows the next line on screen with a recap afterward and puts coaching on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch.
- Price$20 a month (website), $19 on the App Store
- Free tier5 conversations a month, up to 30 minutes each, plus 5 practice runs
- Extra time$3 per 60 minutes
- App Store ratings2 (version 2.1, September 30, 2026)
- Our score80 of 100
Its help page says "iPhone and Android don't let apps hear call audio, so a call on your phone only works on speaker." You keep your native dialer and caller ID, but the app hears the call through the room. It has no real estate features and leaves consent to you. We have not tested how well the speaker route hears a seller.
Best suited for: Investors who talk more than about 40 minutes a month, take calls on speaker, and want one flat plan. Not tuned to seller conversations.
3. Amotions, best for roleplay practice with real estate seller personas, on a desktop
Amotions has a real estate acquisitions page with seller personas for roleplay, post-call scorecards and playbooks. Its live AI runs on a desktop app or a browser overlay beside your phone or dialer. Its own page says "Real-time AI is not a mobile-phone app today; the seller's computer must run a supported workflow."
- PriceFree; Starter $49 ($59 monthly, 15 live hours); Professional $99; Advanced $189; Power $349
- FundingPre-seed only, per Crunchbase
- PlatformDesktop app or browser overlay
- Our score45 of 100
It is the most investor-aware tool here, and the only one with practice built around seller personas. The limit is that live help needs a computer next to you, so it does not help on a call you take while walking a property.
Best suited for: Acquisitions reps who work at a desk and want practice, scorecards and live prompts together. Not for calls taken on a phone.
4. BatchDialer Pro, best all-in-one dialer for investors who want live prompts included
BatchDialer is a web dialer built for investors. Live AI call coaching is on Pro and Enterprise, described as live AI call prompts, automatic call transcripts, AI call summaries and sentiment analysis. The 7-day trial includes the AI.
- Price$95, $151 and $199 per agent a month billed annually; $119, $189 and $249 monthly
- PlatformWeb dialer; no iOS app found
- Free tier7-day trial
- Our score32 of 100
It is the priciest seat here, and it covers the whole dialing workflow, so you may be replacing a dialer you already pay for. We have not watched its demo videos, so we cannot say how good the prompts are.
Best suited for: Investor teams that want a dialer, transcripts and live prompts in one seat. Not for solo investors who take calls on a phone.
5. PropStream Connect, best price for live prompts if you already use PropStream
PropStream Connect adds live AI prompts to click-to-dial calls in a browser softphone, next to lead data, skip tracing and mail. It is included in Pro ($199 a month, $165 annual) and Elite ($699, $583 annual), and Essentials ($99, $81 annual) can add Connect for $30 a month with a 14-day trial.
- Price$30 a month add-on, or included in Pro and Elite
- Limits150 attempted calls a day, three rotating numbers, domestic only
- PlatformChrome softphone, not in the PropStream mobile app
- Our score32 of 100
It scores lowest on our rubric because it needs a desktop browser and assigned numbers, not your own caller ID. For an investor already on PropStream, $30 for live prompts is the cheapest entry on this page by a wide margin.
Best suited for: Investors who already pay for PropStream and cold call from a desk. A poor fit if you want to keep your own number or call from a phone.
Also seen: DealMachine, whose dialer a search snippet says has live transcription and an in-call assistant. Its own pricing page, which starts at $99 per seat a month, did not confirm that, so we did not rank it. Other desk dialers, including ReadyMode, Mojo and REsimpli, showed no live AI when we checked.
Side-by-Side Comparison
Scores are 0 to 5 per criterion, and the total is out of 100.
| Product | Live | Phone path | Mobile + self-serve | Scope | Adjacent | Pricing | Total | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rider | 5 | 5 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 5 | 92 | 50¢ a minute |
| TalkPilot | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | 3 | 1 | 80 | $20 a month |
| Amotions | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 45 | $49 to $349 a month |
| BatchDialer Pro | 4 | 1 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 32 | $151 to $189 a seat |
| PropStream Connect | 4 | 1 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 32 | $30 add-on |
What each option costs at your call volume
Rider charges per minute of conversation, so cost scales with how much you talk. The other options charge a seat, so cost is flat. This table shows where the lines cross, using list prices.
| Conversation time a month | Rider | TalkPilot | PropStream Connect (add-on) | BatchDialer Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 hour | $30 | $20 | $30 | $151 to $189 |
| 4 hours | $120 | $20 | $30 | $151 to $189 |
| 10 hours | $300 | $20 | $30 | $151 to $189 |
| 20 hours | $600 | $20 | $30 | $151 to $189 |
PropStream's add-on is on top of an Essentials plan ($81 to $99), so its real cost is $111 to $129 before you add the data you may already buy. TalkPilot's free tier covers 5 conversations a month. Rider only wins on price if you talk for under an hour, which is why we recommend it for the calls that matter, not for volume.
Which tool fits your situation
| If you... | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Take seller calls on a phone and want your own caller ID | Rider | Bridge hears both sides and keeps your number |
| Cold call from a desk inside PropStream | PropStream Connect | $30 add-on next to your lead data |
| Run a small team on a web dialer | BatchDialer Pro | Dialer, transcripts and live prompts in one seat |
| Want to practice seller scripts before calling | Amotions | Seller personas and scorecards |
| Want a flat plan and are fine with speakerphone | TalkPilot | $20 a month, free tier, works on your phone |
| Do high-volume dialing, 100+ calls a day | A dialer seat | Per-minute pricing costs more than a flat seat |
Rules to check before you call sellers
These tools help on the call. They do not make the call lawful. Three things to check, none of them legal advice.
- Do Not Call. Scrub your list against the national registry and your own opt-outs before you dial. Rider blocks a lead flagged do-not-call, but not a number you type in, and does no national scrub.
- Recording and AI consent. Some states need every party to agree to a recording. Most tools leave this to you. Rider's opening line asks the seller whether an AI note-taker may listen.
- Calling hours. Federal rules limit when you may place a telemarketing call. Rider does not check the time of day for the number you call.
What results look like
We have no investor case studies yet and will not invent any. These are numbers we measured on Rider ourselves, from tests and demo calls, not customer outcomes.
- Cost to run a minute of live helpAbout 13¢ (Haiku, measured Oct 2, 2026)
- Next-line lengthUnder twenty words
- Free when you join10 minutes, about two or three real conversations
If you want results, once you have access the 10 free minutes are enough to judge Rider on your own seller calls. We will add case studies here once customers agree to share them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AI call assistant for real estate investors?
It is software that listens to a seller call as it happens and shows you the next question to ask, a fix when you get a fact wrong, and which goals of the call are still open. It is different from an AI voice agent, which makes the calls for you.
Do AI call assistants work on an iPhone?
Two routes exist. A bridge places the call through the app so it hears both sides, and a microphone route listens through your speakerphone. Dialers like PropStream Connect and BatchDialer run in a desktop browser, not on a phone.
How much does it cost to use Rider for cold calling?
Rider charges 50 cents a minute only while someone is talking, so ringing, voicemail and unanswered calls are free. Four hours of conversation a month is $120, and 20 hours is $600, which is more than a $30 to $199 dialer seat.
Is Rider a replacement for PropStream or BatchDialer?
No. Those tools hold lead data, skip tracing and a dialer. Rider is a call layer with no lead data or skip tracing, so many investors would use it on the calls that matter next to a data tool.
Does Rider check the Do Not Call list?
Not fully today. It blocks a lead you have marked do-not-call, but a number you type in bypasses that check and it does not scrub against the national registry. Scrub your list with your data provider before you dial.
Do I have to tell the seller an AI is listening?
Recording and AI rules vary by state, and most tools leave consent to you. Rider's opening line asks the seller whether an AI note-taker may listen, and Rider does not hear them until you have asked. This is not legal advice.
Can I try one without paying?
Yes. Rider is invite-only right now, and you get 10 free minutes with no card when you join, TalkPilot gives 5 conversations a month, Amotions has a free plan, and BatchDialer and PropStream Connect offer 7-day and 14-day trials.
Request access to Rider
The fastest way to compare these tools is to use one on a real seller call. Rider is invite-only right now. Request access and we'll email you when your spot opens. When you join, you get 10 free minutes, which is two or three real conversations, with no card needed. Dialing, ringing and voicemail are never billed.
After the free minutes it is 50¢ a minute, billed by the second while someone is talking, and credit lasts a year. There is no subscription to cancel. Read how pricing works, see the general comparison of AI call assistants, or request access.
